The voiceofthetimes.net is the online incarnation of the half-page of conservative comment that appeared in the Anchorage Daily News from June 4, 1992, through May 31, 2007. That half-page, known as The Voice of The Times was developed under sponsorship of VECO Corp. to keep the spirit and voice of The Anchorage Times alive after it was purchased by the California-based McClatchy newspaper company.

The Voice of The Times continues here in what we hope is an exciting and valuable information source for Alaskans and all those interested in Alaskan issues. When fully developed it will contain links to other media organizations, both here and in other parts of the nation, as well as to items of interest that the editors encounter on the Internet each day.

This Web site is still under construction and will continue in that mode for some time to come. In the meantime we welcome suggestions from readers, especially those who wish us well.
